"You are all witnesses at the new birth of Spinal Tap Mark II. Hope you enjoy our new direction."

-David St Hubbins, This Is Spinal Tap

Greetings & Salutations!

This is just a quick note to welcome everyone to the All-new SONSOFNOTHING.COM, the product of 2 years of idle speculation and 2 months of insanely intense labor. We went live last night, and right now Fozz and I are feeling like a couple of proud papas. :)

Lots of new features to be found here, including a new page devoted to all things FloydShow-related (with a short essay on PF written by my guardo camino Rick Emerson), links to past articles & interviews, lots of new live pics and promo material, a new gig databse with the lowdown on every show we've ever played and everything you'll want to know about the shows that are coming up, and even a fun little random pic strip on the main page -- just keep reloading until you find the shots that offend you the least. ;)

These and other surface changes are nothing, however, compared to what's been improved behind the scenes. Fozz has really outdone himself with the dynamic templates, making the site 1000% quicker and easier to update than before, and ensuring that not only is everything organized, but that it stays organized. If you like what you're seeing as you peruse the place, be sure to send him your kudos.

Lots to talk about on the band front, but for now I'll just remind you that we're gearing up for our assault on Liquid Joes this Friday. We'll be playing new and semi-new songs, plus hitting you with the full-on FloydShow featuring the long-awaited return of John Flanders on sax and a complete performance of the Wish You Were Here album. Be there!!!

bye for now,
-Thom
