-Ian Malcolm, Jurassic Park

Greetings & Salutations!

Well, I'd love to begin this note by reminiscing about how cool last night's show was, and thanking everyone involved for making it possible....except that I can't, because there was no cool show last night.

For those of you who aren't subscribed to the Mailing List, here's the story: Thursday afternoon, we received word that the club's liquor/business license had been suspended -- or rather, it had been suspended some time earlier, but a last-ditch attempt to have it renewed in time for our gig had failed. I had heard such rumors for a few days, but hard info from the parties involved was very tough to pin down for a while and I wanted to be absolutely certain of the situation before pulling the plug.

Anyway, our apologies for the cancellation, especially at such short notice. I know that a lot of people were excited about this show. Trust me, your disappointment and frustration is nothing compared to ours. We will be playing Salt Lake City sometime this summer, and hopefully we'll be able to hook up for another tribute double-bill at some point as well. Hang in there.

In the meantime, we're focusing on the release of One Left Turn, which we will be celebrating later next month with what is shaping up to be a fantastic concert at Club Suede in Park City. More on that as we get closer to showtime...

bye for now,
