Headline: Last Minute Update

Greetings & Salutations!

We're heading for a couple of away games in Colorado this weekend, and Fozz will be here to pick me up any minute. But I promised that I would get a new entry done before we took off, so here I go...I expect the typos to be rampant.

I've had some very nice feedback from last week's gig at Liquid Joes, which has been heartening, considering that it was, for varied reasons which I don't really have time to go into here, an awfully weird and stressful night for me ("you have the most diplomatic way of being pissed off", Tim would later remark). I will say it was nice that the new/obscure material we tried out (the "Barrett Medley" and 'Two Suns In The Sunset' chief among them) got the most enthused reception, and it was also cool to finally get to play 'Amazed', which was the first new SoN song that we wrote this year, but for some reason hadn't yet made it into the set. One of the e-mails I received said that the show felt "just like the Zephyr days". Funny they should mention that.... ;-)

On The Road Again...

I'm both excited and nervous to be heading out again this weekend. We have the best laid plans, but in the end you never really know what's going to be out there....and that's adventure, baby!

(wow, even in print I can't pull off "baby". how sad is that?)

Gonna try and update from the road this time, so I don't fall prey to aftermathy overwhelm/procrastination. We'll see how it goes.

Gotta run...
